Cheryl Andrews to be published in "SmoKe and SaLt" quarterly

Here's the full version of the post that appeared earlier this week!

A note from Cheryl Andrews:

“Allyson Latta has worked her magic again, successfully bringing Allyson Alumni together. Allyson made me aware of Vivian Carter’s SmoKe and SaLt call for submissions for the Summer 2009 issue, Our Sacred Identity. My poem ‘The Frayed Map’ was accepted for inclusion in the edition. While the poem may not be considered memoir in its purest form, it does speak to a real point in (emotional) time for me.

“A special thanks to another Allyson alumna and fellow member of my writers’ group Life Writers Ink, Mary McIntyre, for her critique and heartfelt feedback on ‘The Frayed Map.’”
